Family law in Australia

Family Law disputes are often complex and highly emotional areas of litigation. I accept briefs from solicitors in a variety of family law disputes, including:

• Recovery applications;

• Change of residence applications;

• Parenting disputes, both at interim and final hearings;

• Property disputes, both at interim and final hearings;

• Enforcement applications; and,

• Contravention applications.

I have also appeared in the Full Court of the Family Court in appeal matters, and as counsel briefed by the Independent Children’s lawyer.

I am particularly passionate about complex parenting disputes, championing the best interests of a child or children as the legislation properly requires.
